Joey and Chris, thanks for a creating a fantastic excuse for me to drive out to Detroit!
I had a great 1900 mile drive, a day with the GTGuys, and a great time having dinner with Fred Goodnow, Chris Theodore, Kip Ewing, and many of the great folks that made this car, plus us a bunch of great owners (after talking to all the tri-state guys they are all ready to buy a Prius
). Truly a great time and I thank you.
Hearing about your first leg of the trip made me laugh, and more than a bit jealous of how many more you have to go. I am glad I got the opportunity to see even just a small part of this hilarious odyssey! I think this will need a movie not a book! If this trip brings you anywhere near Boston, you of course know you have a place to stay.
If anyone finds yourself within 1000 miles of Chris and Joey’s trek, get in your GT and go meet them or invite them over. Happiness and fun seems to follow them and you will have a great time! Plus this is a great way to keep the fire and excitement for our car (at the very least value) alive, so give a hand fanning the flame!!
Stay safe, send lots of updates, and make us all jealous!!

Second Leg of the Trip Complete...

We had 8 GT'S at tonites dinner.
That was 1,300 miles from Detroit to Temple Texas....
Tomorrow, we will drive from Temple to Kingman Arizona to rich robachs house....another 1,100 tomorrow

The Third Leg is Complete.......
Once again Nardo and I would like to thank ..
Rich Roback and wife Evelyn.......for having us over for the nite till we leave in the morning for california...
We started with RACER X from Temple Texas to Kingman Arizona and parked in his garage by 8 pm....
This Leg .....came out to 1,205 miles in a day......
We are over 3,000 miles...in 2 and a half days......
The ride is unreal.......never tiring...THIS IS THE GREATEST CAR EVER BUILT IN THE WORLD..........GTJOEY1314
