Discussing the "world tour" with Fracman and MTV-8. The gentleman on the left provided us with DVDs of a rare FGT Documentary.

HI Nardo/Chris,

"The gentleman on the left provided us with DVDs of a rare FGT Documentary"

Those guys look very familiar. Were they the production crew for "RIDES"? They were at the TROY plant filming "DAISY" the Cobra cars Saleen built for the Triple X xXx: State of the Union movie. While there they heard we were building Jay Leno's car and asked if they could film it. (DUH, YEA) They put a mic on me and had me narrate some of it. If you could burn a copy for me I would appreciate it. I will be at the dinner on August 13th and will bring you a gift. Thanks.

Although the Go Pro Cameras are pretty good.....(I use them on my track car all the time)..they are limited to how much they can record. Also the batteries dont last, and they are not readily available in every store.......then you have the 32G card, and how many would you need of those? ..My suggestion? go to a specialist, have him install a system......they have very small cameras (also in HD) ...I believe they call them cigarette cameras? they are small and thin.....you can put a couple capturing the driver and the passenger, ( a must).....and have one or two looking thru the windscreen and looking back......I would venture to say that the system might be in the $2500. range...but it will last, and cover everything you do....also with sound......... Just think of the movie you can make with the material you'll get......You might have enuf for a sequel, and much more.......... When you guys come back, in 2014.....after the world trip......I will buy it from you, at a reduced price of course....:lol

There is a "line in" jack on the back of the Mac (that is what everyone talks about when hey hook up an iPod). You can add a stand alone sat radio, there are a couple, but as it sounds like it is temporary, this might work

Gino is right, the go pro does have limitations, it's just cheap and easy. He hits it, how long do you want to record? How many views, and are you willing to make the investment, in a DVR, lipstick cameras, and mounting hardware?

Here I a step up to the go pro, I brorrowed an SD version for the rally tx mile, wire tied the cam to the rear view mirror

Im going to get the car friday, then pulll the radio...those small portables look good, but ive been burned before with the BAD reception.....I have to see if I can fit a unit behind the radio, as in new york like other big cities I need a strong reception...theres to many stations that crowd the air...That camera looks real neat, will go to the store today, does it run off the 12 volt power socket? Will find out more today, thank you again SPEC AND GINO...GTJOEY1314

Just a reminder that the Mac Radio only half works in Europe - we use all the decimal places to broadcast on 98.8 and 89.1 etc rather than just the odd numbers......

If you use the furnished air compressor and follow the directions it can pump air without the sealant, The extra inflator you bought is excess baggage. XM makes the xmp3i. It is very small has it's own antenna and you can plug an adapter into the back of the radio as mentioned.

You have to go for minimal space and use every cubic inch available. Nardos ego will at least fill the trunk so it is all used up. You can also ups a box ahead of you as the trip progresses, or have two boxes in transit in case box 1 disappears. Learned from Rally 1 roatrip TX to Detroit.

Well, its 7pm saturday, Im in the barn watching Barrett /Jackson and Im still grining ear to ear......Once again a big thank you to Plycar, 360 was shipped without a hitch. But my biggest thank you goes out to Chris McGregor "NARDO".........
We have been friends for a while now and to see 360 come off the truck just as he described and then some........
360 is a very solid and tight early GT. All of its glory will be documented in the months to come...... thanks again to the GTGUYS, they shipped some overnite stuff to get the ball rolling and I have already done some of it......
ANYONE else that has this itch, like Jeff did from seatle or we do.....JUST DO IT!
Im happy and Im healthy so far and Nardo feels the same, work is work, the kids are big and we get a break from the bosses at home....:biggrin
Chris and I have been on the phone for hours just going over everything.......... Its very exciting and I think its well worth it!
So follow along will post the new AIR COMPRESSOR , that replaced the missing can and much more.....ENJOY GTJOEY1314:thumbsup
