Anyone else out there into boats?

Another Cobalt owner here: 2007 Cobalt 226 ... Alex Barry of Cobalt told me this was one of the last five 226 hulls Cobalt still had when their fiscal year ended, and their bean counters said they had to call them 07's, even though everything I've found online says the 226 ended in '06. Also a big block Merc 496 (8.1L) Bravo III 375 HP. Apparently I like expensive red vehicles with high-powered V8's! This one does 63 mph, with 2 of us, top down and half fuel. I bought it new, and sadly we've just never used it much. Has only 58 hours on it! 
It's such a perfect thing even just to look at or climb in and sit! Haha! I suppose this means I understand how some guys buy a new GT and just let it sit while they stare at it in their garage, although frankly I feel like it's kinda been a waste to not use it more. In fact, this boat situation is part of the reason I bought a GT: I thought, If I'm gonna have an expensive secondary vehicle, it should at least be more accessible than having to haul it to the water to use it (we're about 45 mins from water). Sorry, no pics of it on the water.

Nice Formula! Always easy to pick out in a crowd. What motors?

You've got the right boat for my area... Outboards. I have twin big blocks 592 / 593 hp and right at 600 torues normally-aspirated.

I had legacy structures. I'm building back to a higher modern standard and through flow decking. We are averaging real damage once every 15 years or so

That's badass, but I think would look better in digital format. Fastest I've been on a boat is ~95 in an Eliminator. You are crazy! 42' Lightening has always been one of my favorite boats.
My last trip to the Bahamas and back below. I've only toped out at 69.4... not quite enough to round up. Not too bad for fishing boat with only 600hp total. Guess I only hit 63 on this trip.
