How 'bout some info on the tiny runabout hanging from the ceiling above the Jeep? R/C maybe ('can't see an antenna, but...)? 'Nautical version of a pedal car? 'Scale model? 'Can't see a steering wheel. Does it have one at all (functioning or otherwise)? These are some of my wooden runabout collection. “If God had wanted fiberglass boats he would have made fiberglass trees”View attachment 60067
Anyone seen this:
All my runabouts were made in my hometown by a company called Speedliner. The quarter scale boat was built for Goetz brewery as a summer in store display piece also based in Saint Joseph Missouri. It is complete except for steering wheel and steering cables. Speedliner’s were used in the Cypress Gardens water ski shows and featured in a number of films. Mel Blanc also had a big collection he kept at Lake Tahoe. How 'bout some info on the tiny runabout hanging from the ceiling above the Jeep? R/C maybe ('can't see an antenna, but...)?
