Sweet Ass.jpg

Thought you guys might like to see this. This is the car I bought from Shelby many months ago, and I just had to do this mod. Also, this is Kendall's bumper delete exhaust. I picked an angle where it can be seen just how much it sticks out, since I know this might be an issue for some. I think since I'm a 60's muscle car guy I like the look of the pipes sticking out just a bit. Sure is a sweet ass......

Longer tips lessen the chance of exhaust flames cooking the rear end.

I think you did a great job. Slightly retro. Perfect.

Looks excellent. Bumper Delete is my #1 favorite mod on the Ford GT....

Looks perfect, Ross. Aside from an exhaust, this is the only 'major' mod I'd really like to do.

Ed,

You do realize your choice of exhaust and the bumper delete are linked right?

I do. I know I have to commit to the delete before getting an exhaust. Unfortunate that's the case.

Doing those too, but I don't consider them 'big' mods:) Throws are too long and the cooler for engine longevity.

Looks good Ross. Red GT in the hills of SoCal. Doesn't get much better than that.

Another 'sweet ass' checking in :biggrin
One of the best mods for FGT, period!

Wizard, I kinda like your exhaust set up. Is this X or H type pipe?

I had to chime in on the topic. here is my Seet one. BD done by Kendall several years ago in the early days of Cooltech BD. The pipes were my favirite look at the time and with FR exhast sounds tamed but sweet. I did the OilCooler and, Pulley and Tune, lowering kit and more at the same time. I have kept all the parts for Bumper but as long as I own it or am alive they will never go back on the car. Do it Kevin.
