Another "Sweet Ass" in L.A..........

Greg-TT.....the CoolTech exhaust is an X pipe design.....and now the car sounds right.....

I have owned my car for 7 years and have always said that I would never do the bumper delete, but lately my opinion has changed. The bumper delete cars are really beautiful. I think I would go with this setup:

well it's all reversible if you ever change your mind......

although for those of you who might choose the CDC system they no longer include the bezel, so you have to cut the OEM bezel such that it can't go back......or buy one for an extra $200......

Well, I would guess if you commit to the delete, you wouldn't go back. But too bad they don't include the bezel any longer. Where did you get the filler panel painted?

If you buy CDC from the GT Guy LLC, they paint it the base color, UPS it to you, you tape where the stripes go, you UPS it back, they paint the stripes.

I had mine done by a local custom shop.....San Fernando valley, hot rod capital of the world. It was about 20 minutes away.....but it took 8 trips there, with all the steps and masking and all....we had the most trouble with the white from the Ford code....it was just too bright....

So I like the idea of the GT Guy if they can hit the color........

When did you do the delete, Greg? Who did your work?

Hey Ed, Kendall did the work and I couldn't be happier. :thumbsup
Do it now!! :biggrin

I believe he has a local guy who does the paint work for him.
I can't wait to check out your car at AA3

What was the turnaround on the work? Living up north, not easy for me to drop off the car and just pick it up a few days later.
And yeah, will be at AA3. Get the GT's together for a photo op:) It's early, but forecast is for rain:(
You going both days?

Not sure on exact turn around time for paint job since I had many other work done at the time of drop off.
I'd guess no more than 2 or 3 days for a paint job?

Come on up, Ross!

Can I drive your new car in the race? haha.....

I had Shadowman do my high exhaust exhaust. The finished product is indistinguishable from OEM.He's near Sacramento. I like the 1960s look.
