This is the third successive TT install we have done at Cool Tech to one of our favorite GTs and the original Cool Tech "poster child" mod car. This is Kelvin (AlohaGT) and Shelley's beautiful Heritage car. It normally resides on the island of Oahu but Kelvin treats it to a 747 ride once a year or so to come visit us.... and we really like playing host.
On the interior, this car has more CF than the F-22!! On the functioanl side, we had previously fitted the car with the FreeFlyer Boost gauge. On this trip, we replaced the Volt meter with FreeFlyer's A/F gauge - just so Kelvin and Shelley can keep a watchful eye on the new twins!
Did I say twins? Here's a picture of them more or less naked.

Here's a close-up.

And here's a view after this turbo is plumbed for both water and oil lines (oil drain line not visible).

Next up is a picture of the hand-crafted headers which allow the exhaust gases to get back to the turbos in a very efficient manner. (In contrast to OEM cast iron manifold.)

And several hours later, here's a picture of the topside!

More to follow in next post....
