Working on it guys, have a local customers car at our place right now, kits done, just needs to be tested to get proper pulley sizes and belts. Other than that, it's a no brainer. I've been traveling for some boat racing the past month or so so I've been delaying everything simply because I don't have time. So, hopefully next week, I'll be posting some numbers for you guys.

Thanks,
Dustin

Do you have a timeframe of when this will be available to purchase? I am about to twin turbo my car in the next month or so and would consider this if the numbers are where I want them. PM me if you want.

thanks
Jason

Couple of weeks, again, the kit is done, has been for a few months, I just need to get a handle on the pulley/belt situation and work on my own cal. Since others use there own tune, tuning is not as big a concern.

Thanks,
Dustin

That's a bit disappointing. I thought the 4.0 would be a little larger.

We appreciate your efforts. If it sounds like we are trying to rush you, it's because we are. However, I would rather you ignore us until you have a product that will satisfy everyone. Thanks again, and keep my name on the list, I'd like one as soon as you have a product you are happy with. :thumbsup

Rotors are over 2" longer, but housing is just under 1". This was done to keep packaging of the bypass and inlet the same. Bearings and rear shafts are further back in the inlet track, but they are radiused, etc. Has worked very well so far.

Shadowman,
Did you ever put together a comparison of Whipple vs Twin Turbo from your perspective, as Chip Beck had discussed. This matter is of curiousity to me.

To me, it appears that, at least on pump gas, the supercharger or supercharger TT kits will probably yield the overall best performance. It you look at some of the dyno charts posted for TT vs SC or TT vs SC+TT, the average hp/tq across the rpm range is higher with the supercharger.

in particular, with the SC/TT combo, you gain about 150-200 rwhp in the 2500-4500range and only lose about 60rwhp at the upper range rpm range (which i imagine is due to the drag of the supercharger). Call me crazy, but I would take 150-200rwhp in the most usable range and loose 50-60rwhp above 6000rpms (seldom used range) any day.... Now if it's a drag car or a car be used for top speed runs, then maybe I would change my mind, but I realize that very few of us use these cars for drag only/top speed cars...
Just my $.02

With the stock pulley on the stock blower the loss is more like 100-150whp up high TTSC wise

I'd be interested in seeing this too. Most of the dynos I have seen on with TT's on pump gas make around 850rwhp. Whipples make about 100-125 peak rwhp less with comparable amounts of boost but make about 200-250 rwhp more in the 2500-4500rpm range. Stock supercharger with TT kit dynos that have been posted appear to make even more in the 2500-5500rpm range than either alone but appeared to make about 50-75rwhp less than a TT kit alone on pump gas. Race gas is a totally different story: the TT kit alone will outperform about 4500 rpms...
This is just based on the dynos I have seen posted. If the TT+SC kit make 150rwhp less on pump gas than the TT kit alone that would make it closer to 700rwhp which is less than just the Whipple without anything else, unless people are truly able to make more than 850rwhp with a TT kit on pump gas:biggrin

My car TT has been at 900whp for years on 93 octane.

The only way there is a 50-75 Net blower power consumption loss is by under driving it.

Stock pulley you're loss is around 150 at the tire with the blower in place. I know this as absolute fact.

Got it. So the dynos I am looking at for comparison are likely running the upgraded pulley with the TT kit and they are seeing roughly 850rwhp which makes sense. With a tune + pulley and exhaust people see roughly 100rwhp increase over stock. If the stock pulley + TT kit = app 750rwp, then it makes sense an upgraded pulley + TT kit will make 850rwhp which is what I have seen on 92 Octane. You saw 900rwhp with your TT kit which is roughly 50rwhp more. That also makes sense why the dyno comparisons show huge mid range torque as the smaller pulley is creating more boost in the 2500-4500rpm range. Makes sense to me. That's why, at first glance an 850rwhp supercharger +TT kit looks appealing to me: 200+rwhp/tq in the 2500-4500 rpm range and losing 50-60rwhp on the top end...Personally, for street driving I would take the trade off, but that's just me :biggrin
