2015 Mustang Introduction - 12/5/2013

What size tires are on the back of the GT?

The more I look at the car, the more Aston Martin I see. Not a bad thing as I think the Astons are the best looking new cars on the road at present.

Paul,

Here is a link with some preliminary (subject to change) data on specs: http://www.automobilemag.com/features/news/1312_2015_ford_mustang/?eml=679716&sp_rid=4318898

Rex, that's how the hand prints got on the hood of the ford warehouse you posted....

From the direct side view it is a little reminiscent of the old 240-260 Z cars, which is not a bad thing. Be anxious to see one in person. Some great stuff from the looks of it.

Using Baseball analogy ...."They hit a grand slam with this baby".... great job Ford!!

I am wondering what the power to weight ratio is with the four lunger ecoboost power train, and what the fuel economy is with this setup.
No doubt this should, and will be important to many a potential buyer. Drive a great looking quality ride and on the cheap too,
not a bad way to go!

Gentlemen,

I love this new Mustang. AND......they are going to offer it in bright yellow. Charley is already angling to trade in his 2012 Mustang. A super high output 5.0 Ecoboost with 500 HP next year would be nice.

Chip

Should be dozens of new Mustangs available to drive at the Mustang 50TH celebrations in Las Vegas and Charlotte NC (April 16 - 19).

One at C&C Irvine this morning

Looks good in the wild. You people are ridiculous with your 6 AM car shows.

:shrug some thing wrong with "trying to beat the traffic" syndrome coupled with "if you're not there early you'll park across the street".

But it does seem to work. Pretty soon they have to begin overnite camping to be first in line.

That's already the case with car shows up here, Jeffey. How long has it been since you attended one up this area?!

September @ Rally 8.

Not one of my favorite activities. Usually do one a year, or more if on grass.

Chip - I am trying to convince Margaret to get YELLOW too. I spoke to JMays at the unveiling in Dearborn and he says it is the best YELLOW Ford has done.
He said tri-coat/tinted clear and very close to a Ferrari yellow they called "FLY Yellow "..does that make sense.?

Fly yellow is almost exatly 'chrome yellow' that was on Mustang in 98 and some other years. It's BRIGHT!

Rex..ok ,thanks... I can picture it. I had a
chrome yellow Mustang convertible back then for a year...
