Jason,

I will not finalize the route until a few weeks before the rally. We may cross the Colorado River at Bullhead City if traffic is flowing faster there than at the Hoover Dam. There are some interesting roads that I will check out in late August after my return from Tanzania. We will scout the entire route and I promise our entire high-speed caravan nothing but smooth sailing. :biggrin I will publish the route at least two weeks in advance.

Chip, I know a lot of you attending have met before and know each other but there are also probably a few others like me who have not been that fortunate.

As a suggestion, would nametags with our given names as well as forum names be appropriate? We would want to include the wives too of course. It would certainly help break the ice and give the newbies a head start.

I have a friend with an engraving shop. I could have some decent looking pin on tags made so we wouldn't have to wear those lame looking stick on paper things.

Just a thought. I think I'll pitch it to DBK for the main rally also.

Over the last two years Larry (AZGT) has provided stick on pre-printed nametags that included our screen names, real names, and a picture of your GT in the proper color. At the actual rally you will be issued a tag showing your screen name and actual name that is worn around your neck. You will need to show it to get in to all of the events. We got you covered! :cheers
