Where is the hotel info I need to secure a room.
Gentlemen,
Members should call Marriott reservations at 1-800-898-5209 and identify themselves as attendees at the "Ford GT Owners" event arriving Monday, September 8, 2008 and checking out on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the Marriott Scottsdale Suites Old Town. Our good guy rate is $109 per night (a $50 per night discount from the normal $159 per night). Again, if you will be arriving a few days early to have the GT Guys perform work on your car, you can request our special group rate for your early arrival days as well.
The hotel's address is ---
Marriott Scottsdale Suites Old Town
7325 E. 3rd Ave
Scottsdale, Arizona 85251
and their local phone number is area code 480-945-1550 (do NOT use the local phone number to make your reservation). If you have any problems or need assistance I can be reached on my cell phone at 602-430-4877.
This is one to be a great event and a most enjoyable tune up for Rally III. See you soon!! :cheers
Chip
Gentlemen,
Our Scottsdale Rally to the Rally continues to grow. Approximately one fourth of the total National GT Rally participants will start that momentous event in Scottsdale, Arizona. :banana There is still time to secure a hotel reservation and join us. :cheers Missing this event will be the equivalent of passing on free hot oil massage given by Pamela Anderson in the nude.

Have you finalized the route yet? Just wondering if you are planning to use Rt. 66. It pretty much parallels I-40, has beautiful scenery, just like the movie "Cars", 65mph, smooth and wide.:thumbsup

Chip, May I make a suggestion. The red cars should follow behind because if we lead the other colors may not be able to keep up. Just food for thought.
Chip, while I assume dinner dress for both evenings is casual, does this mean jeans for both places or nicer pants/shirt? Ladies should wear _______? Thanks Frank
