Are the kids home? Having a fun Christmas Eve I hope

We are celebrating today due to travel schedules tomorrow and I am fulfilling my uncle duties with a jungle gym / swing set for my 3.5 year old nephew. Since we opened gifts today am I am assembling everything tomorrow (the boxes are at another house) I wrapped up a picture of the jungle gym. My...

    FGT or Aventadore

There were 2 cars that I had posters of on my wall as a kid and built every model of I could get my hands on: The Countach and the GT-40. A few decades later, during the rare event when I see a Countach in person I enjoy it for what it was in my mind as automotive art but it looks very dated in...

    Calendars are awesome

I have a serious problem with the calendar... it is too nice to hang on the wall. Currently fighting the impulse to start framing the pics and decorate our living room. My GT gear is slowing creeping out from the garage and game room into other parts of the house. If I get the brakes put on by...

    Bridgestone vs. Hoosier Opinions

Any feedback on the amount of road debris that the Hoosiers pick up and throw on the car compared to the GY or Bridgestones?

    Jessie James Blue FGT

The only upside to this is seeing more pictures of a blue no-stripe, that scheme is really growing on me and I never run across pictures of them.

    Whipple Installed = 808 whp!

BTW - I saw proof that the 6 year old tires need to go no matter how recently they were put on or how good they look, the car is covered in mini-chunks of rubber courtesy of the leading edge of the treads beginning to separate.

    Whipple Installed = 808 whp!

Thanks, burnt nearly 1/4 tank while on the dyno and driving back home (about 5-8 miles).

    Whipple Installed = 808 whp!

Was at 602 with a pulley and tune. Worked with Torrie from the start so I never dynoed without his initial load and didn't want to chance it otherwise (the guy works as crazy hours as I do).

    Whipple Installed = 808 whp!

It was a Dyno Dynamics dyno. I think some of Soroush's excess horsepower rubbed off.

    Flames!!

The only thing in my mind that is almost as cool as a clutched on/off Road Warrior supercharger sticking up through the hood (haven't figured out for the GT, will leave that to Fubar) is flames out the exhaust. I was able to get my wish on video: http://youtu.be/Q_6t2UaSh_s

    Whipple Installed = 808 whp!

Just finished with the dyno tuning session with a freshly installed 3.4L whipple.. put down 808 whp on pump gas!!! I would attribute these figures (and the steady climb in power with each dyno run) to the "secret sauce", a remote tune from Torrie. It was awesome to watch the interaction with...
