I don't really understand why a "special" place is needed. All they do is plug into the OBD II port if it is an OBDII vehicle, and check the fuel door. At least, that's how it is here in phoenix. I do make it a point to plug the tool in myself so the guy doesn't bend the OBD port support, but...
