    Ford GT application/video question

I had a two and one half minute video and I cut it down to two one minute videos, each with it’s own link. Nothing fancy, no special effects. I heard someone say Ford would not look at longer vids, which makes sense, if they said one minute, and had 6000 applications, that’s like watching 3...

    Sparco 6 pt harness

sparco belts Here they are. Part of the mount is under the seat and the lower belts tuck into the bottom seat slot adequately. I ordered the belt mounts with the car but they were not done, and the bill for adding them after the fact was substantially more than the original $200. Ford...

    Sparco 6 pt harness

I’ve got them installed and they can almost tuck out of the way for every day use. Almost. They provide a nice splash of color. One doesn’t get to move around much if using them, solely for track.

    Historic First Event

I am pretty sure that my dog is the first, ever, to throw up in the NFGT! Sure he was eating grass at my ranch before our drive home. And he landed everything on the towel I put on the seat. Pictures forthcoming!

Street Tires for 2017/18 Ford GT

I replaced my Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 (I started to just type Pilots, typed the P and came back a moment later filling in the other P-tire) tires with the same new ones at 18000 miles. They had a few more thousand but I had a screw in one rear. One track session on them.

What have you done with your new Ford GT?

Got my first set of replacement tires at 18k miles. Had a few thousand more miles on them, but had a second nail/ screw in rear and slow leak, and was in service for other stuff, so decided to replace all around. One track session on them, one Mohave Mile session, and commuter miles.

    NGT Insurance Interesting Math

Should I feel honored that AIG Private Client Group declined my insurance request , moving my home and all vehicles to them, because they saw my NFGT application video where I stated I drive my cars, track them occasionally, let others drive them, and have lots of miles? Except for four glass...

Driver side interior door handle failure

Any words of advice for removing driver side door skin to access inside handle that has failed? Will I rip out spring clips or can that be avoided. Do I have to remove the double sticky side tape held trim on the door? Hidden screws? Will tackle it this weekend.

What have you learned about your NGT today??

Look at this average miles per gallon on the trip display! OK, slight cheat, a reset before dropping 2000 feet, from Flagstaff to Sedona, almost all downhill at 80 something. 16 k miles now,
