Someday I hope to have 3-4 GT's in my possession. I plan to keep the black, no stripe as my "driver" and then start collecting some other colors I love. One being a Heritage. But for now, my focus and funds are with JOYRIDE.

+1 on the ADV1 (Tungsten GT). They are clean, "hot" and not your normal rim design. Love it.

Gerry - are you 'stoked' about changing from "Spectator" to "GT Owner" within days? Be sure to submit your new VIN to DBK and get on the registry.

I like the idea of the "orange peel". =) Maybe in 6-9 months or so. We'll see how the 'wrap' holds up. I also really, really like the black-no stripe, murdered out look. But this is a nice change for a while.

I've had several folks ask me and PM me about where to see the Episode online. As of right now, SPEED TV has not posted the episode on their site for viewing, but there are a few options: 1. Catch a re-run of it on SPEED TV. It is sometimes listed as "Audi R8 vs GT500" in the cable listings...

Actually it was inspired by the MATECH Orange GT shown below. The finishing touches are being made as we speak to the addition of a carbon fiber, adjustable rear wing. It will be making it's public "debut" at Rally V! :thumbsup

Guys - this is not the final cut, edited show. It is a "web special" and has a TON of the 'out takes'.

So maybe the AZ HP that pulled TeamJeff and I over on the way to Vegas DID have it right!!!...There are two engines in the Ford GT. One in front and one in the rear. Okay now...no jokes about "one in the front and one in the rear"! =)

Well, I guess I'm glad I've got a 9500 installed. Only thing you can see is a black bar on the rear license and a very small readout just above the steering column. Now I just have to hope and pray that the 2 days at VIR do not melt the rear wiring again - making it unusable! =)

My wife brought home two yesterday for me. Same deal - $29.99 ea at Costco in Peoria, AZ. The body is very detailed and has working headlights and taillights. The quality of the RC components have a lot to be desired. But for 30 BUCKS - who cares! Going back for more. Great Christmas presents...

Check in the owners section for more detailed pics. Particularly the one of Tanner holding a piece of the block with a Bull extruding from it. I'm guessing the engine threw a piston against the passenger side of the block...hence the hole and parts laying in a line for several feet.

Hey guys...lots of fantastic posts here. So thanks. We had a successful "bash" at my house with about 35+ people, of which there were at least 6 GT owners and 2 which are in the buying process (one flew in from San Diego) and let's just say that the TV's were cranked and the energy was 'high'...

Saw this posted...thought the pic of the MC12 "toasting" Matech's Ford GT was pretty cool. Or should I say "hot"? :biggrin
