I kinda like the Blu Ice appearance, where is Mid Nite Blu on this one? Should get his low testosterone flowing!

Where are the orange pompoms and orange cheerleaders?

Yes, I thought it was nice of Carmel to have traffic cones to match the Joyride GT - even the numeral background. But your photos on Highway One are killer!

I like the idea of the "orange peel". =) Maybe in 6-9 months or so. We'll see how the 'wrap' holds up.

I also really, really like the black-no stripe, murdered out look. But this is a nice change for a while.

Thanks for the props to the black, no-strip murdered out look! Can't wait for you to see it with the gloss black stripes. Subtle, but strong.
Next is a pulley, tune and bumper delete. I've got the bug bad a year into ownership. What an awesome car!

Good question tpraceman, I was also wondering who's going to pick up the tab on the motor.

After the events of the day, maybe they figured they'd drop a Ford GT motor into it, anyway.

Get a hold of Kendall he's 30 minutes away from making you realizing the dream.

Time to look for a second GT.

Someday I hope to have 3-4 GT's in my possession. I plan to keep the black, no stripe as my "driver" and then start collecting some other colors I love. One being a Heritage.

But for now, my focus and funds are with JOYRIDE.

AZSTAD,
Did you drive to Monterey on the Hoosiers??? If you drive on the road w/ the slicks then having the car wrapped would also protect the paint behind the wheelwells from rock chips? I made the mistake of leaving the paint exposed on another car and the back of the wheelwells looked sandblasted after just a few months.

911TEO - I saw your pics before we had ours wrapped. They look GREAT! So thanks for helping with the inspiration. I think our "oranges" are a slightly different tone. It's so hard to pick an orange and they usually change quit a bit with lighting, inside, outside, etc. Anyway, great car.

Heritage Bruce - yes we drove all the way from LA to Monterey and back on the Hoosier R6's. I've got a brand new set in my driveway waiting to get mounted for Rally V. At the end of the Thursday VIR day, we've got some new "Disco Rims" we'll be revealing. No Hoosiers on those.

I'm not gonna steal your thunder on displaying those, so PM sent. ;-)
