I second this suggestion! Not too far from Heffner in Sarasota either, for those that want last minute tunes or double hair dryers. I'm tired of the one mile limitations and really want to run this track.

As far as the coil covers are concerned, you can either do as Neilda suggested and replace them with the Ford Racing covers or have your blemished ones chromed. If you chrome them you can paint the letters to match your car.

I've had my '05 for over 4 years. It has about 7500 miles and still has the original battery. I keep it on a Battery Tender hooked up directly to the battery. The Ford charger never seemed to work through the cigarette lighter. I let it go dead one time and charged it back up with the Tender...

So to answer his original question, it sounds like he needs more horsepower to achieve 180 mph?

This photo was used on the cover of a car magazine (I can't remember which) in the '60s. I've got a copy of it with Carroll Shelby's autograph on it. I need to find it and get it framed.

I think this is a great idea. The 200 MPH Club shirts they sell at The Mile get the message across but are a little plain. A bumper sticker would be great for my trailer but maybe a static cling would be better for the car. Thanks Dave

Must be something new. I've run over 200 at the Mile several times without a suit and no complaints from the organizers. I'll need to find out about this before I go back.:confused
