    So.... anybody ready to start talking about alternative gauges for the FGT?

    I would replace the battery before doing anything else. The tach on my '05 was doing the same thing about six months ago. I replaced the original battery with another OEM Optima and haven't had a problem with the tach since. (Knock on wood...)

    No Mac. The tach started acting sluggish and sticking with the 5-year old OEM battery. Once I replaced the battery with another Optima, the tach began working normally. No issues with any of the other gauges.
