    Oil Change Notification

Same here. Well actually plexiglass and a grease pencil. I use an Excel spreadsheet as a record of past oil changes.

Do you know if Speed Hut will be making a flat adapter ring? I just need to replace my speedometer (at least for now). I would buy one. Yep. Me too.

    What would you rather have?

I'd still trade you my wife's Freestyle. Come on. You know you want it. More Corsair porn for Friday... Photo by Ted Carlson.

I guess I am truly a GT owner now: My first gauge failure.

I know. I'm a slacker. I got wrapped up in pre-deployment training and couldn't break free. ...And there were no Playboy Bunnies, so I quickly lost interest. Apparently, they've found a little blue pill for older pilots... You bet! I'm crossing my fingers for Sears Point in Sonoma! Ouch...

    What would you rather have?

"WF" is -513, The Flying Nightmares. That was my first "gun" squadron. VMA-513 is currently deployed supporting OEF. Is that your aircraft? It is absolutely gorgeous. Any time you want to trade it for my GT, send me a PM. I'll even through in my wife's Freestyle to sweeten the deal...

    What would you rather have?

There is nothing that I would rather have than my GT. But if the GT had never been built, I would have a Z8 in the garage.

I guess I am truly a GT owner now: My first gauge failure.

Maybe we could set aside a day at the next ralley for a group gauge replacement function. :lol :lol +1 I had the same thought as I was riding into work this morning. At the end of the day, as frustrating as it may seem, it's only a gauge. My daughter scored four goals last weekend, and...

Ouch! That makes that big ol' speedometer seem like a bargain.

I guess I am truly a GT owner now: My first gauge failure.

Confirmed... After following Torrie's advice to use my SCT programmer to datalog vehicle speed from the ECU, I'm pretty sure I have confirmed that my speedometer is toast. Thanks to all who responded with special thanks once again to Torrie for saving my GT from a trip to the dealership. At...

I guess I am truly a GT owner now: My first gauge failure.

Chalk up another speedometer to the guage gremlins. My speedometer worked perfectly when I had the GT out a few weeks ago, but it is now pegged at 0 and will not move. There were no indications of impending failure. The odometer and all other gauges seem fine. I have replaced the speed...

    Rally 7 will be in...

Sears Point gets my vote. It's less then 20 miles from where I grew up, and I'll be back on the west coast next fall. The Sonoma Mission Inn is relatively close to the track. Of course if you want night life that extends beyond drinking a 40 in the parking lot of Sonoma Valley High School, it...

Anybody towing their GT with an open trailer?

Gents, Thanks very much for all of the replies and advice. I live in North Carolina. My GT has seen its share of afternoon showers. Not to mention the drive to Rally V in Virginia. Truth be told, you could probably find a small rock chip or two on the car as well. That's a great website...

Anybody towing their GT with an open trailer?

I was contemplating that option as well. It would be cheaper, and I wouldn't have to find a spot to store the trailer when I get to AZ. Thanks for the heads up on the carpet protection film. I was hoping someone could recommend a film to protect the front of the car.

Anybody towing their GT with an open trailer?

I am being afforded another opportunity for a cross-country move. Instead of shipping the GT this time, I am contemplating buying a trailer and towing her myself. As nice as it would be, I can't justify spending the money for a brand new, lightweight, fully enclosed Trailex or Featherlite...

    50000 miles so far

No, I can't make it this year. I'll be wrapped up in a pre-deployment exercise.
