Thanks guys It was a tight race, porsche 996 gt3 cup car lead for 1 hr we pushed it hard and the gearbox broke, then a carrera 2 with a 4wd turbo fitted and a m3 gtr which had 1 less fuel stop than us was alway within a lap or two of us and it takes a lap to fuel 120 litres and the 25 mph pit...

Just to let you know we won the 1st roud off our enduro series in New Zealand, It was a 4 hr race Manfeild raceway won buy 16 seconds it was red flaged with 6 minutes to run because of a torrential down poor with 20 min to run. PS any one no a good valet :banana:cheers:willy Neil NZ05GT

The whipple is 5 mm wider than the OEM one:frown whipple is on the left OEM is on right I would agree it is a consumable, I think I will get a couple. :cheers Neil

I would say more for dampening the drive if there is a slight missalignment and also if the engine stalls it would take the shock, and take the shock loading when changing gears etc Neil after closer inspection I think it may be ceramic

no it is not the shaft but a sold peice of plastic, the shaft is fine,

Just pulled the front snout of my whipple and found this unusual wear to the drive coupling,it has done 3000 race miles

Fog light ducting was for brake cooling on std front we now have a matech front on her, the brake ducting is in the main opening I have attached some pic's of our front hood and wicker Neil
