It was a tight race, porsche 996 gt3 cup car lead for 1 hr we pushed it hard and the gearbox broke, then a carrera 2 with a 4wd turbo fitted and a m3 gtr which had 1 less fuel stop than us was alway within a lap or two of us and it takes a lap to fuel 120 litres and the 25 mph pit speed limit, then with 20 minutes left we had torrential rain which left an inch of water on the track the porsche spun then we spun into a gravel trap( :thumbsdow) and just managed to get out then the porsche spun again then we spun again it was that wet on michelin pilot sport cup tires we might as well been on slicks the pace car came out with 8 min to go and stopped the race with 6 minutes to run,
GT 1st:banana Porsche 2nd, bmw gtr 3rd,
now we have 2 more enduro's to go 14th may, 12th june.
