This site wouldn't have become the incredible place it is without you, Dave, the incomparable and much-missed Bony, and the great efforts of Chip and Rick. Many thanks to all of you.
I just read this thread for the first time, and there were many well-made points about this somewhat murky issue of personal use of media versus intellectual property rights, but Chip's clear, well-reasoned, and eloquent view once again reminds me why I'm glad to be a member of this group.
E.P., haven't you ever seen the t-shirt that reads "I can sleep in my car if I have to, but you can't drive your house!" Kumar, I second Project321's comment above.
Strong work. Those are some great numbers, especially on the Goodyears with just pulley, tune, and exhaust. Sounds like somebody knows how to launch and when to shift. Good on ya!
Dave - I would say that the site is certainly more than just an entertainment venue, but I couldn't agree more with your point of view, no matter how much I also agree with sarcastic comments about "change". You, and your site, remain a class act.
Hi Torrie,
Do you carry the valve stem caps for the optional BBS wheels? I'm missing one and would like to order a couple of them if possible.
thanks,
Richard Kingsland ("Hammer")
Congratulations, Effer-man! And welcome to this slightly twisted club of rabid owners of what must be one of the wildest and loveliest vehicles ever produced. And more kudos to Shelby - all we ever hear is good stuff about him. A little unasked for advice - be careful with your right foot...
You gotta love this site! Who would have thunk you could get so many creative ideas out of a bunch of hard-nosed, take-no-prisoners, self-made horsepower junkies?
And this field included a Zonda, a Koenigsegg, and an Enzo (not to mention some very serious-sounding Porsches, Vipers, and an Ultima)? Wow! Strong work! Looking forward to hearing the details.
That smoky maroon look is very cool. And thank heavens we saw some blue tape, Shadowman -- I, too, was a little concerned about it really being your install without that extra degree of care showing. And kudos to Shelby, too, for doing it right.
