    Need a FEAD belt

These should fit. Dayco 5100883 Supercharger Dayco 5060923 Main/Alternator If not, Serpentine belts are made in just about all size increments. Take both to NAPA or Oreilly's. They can measure them with a belt ruler and match them up. Let us know what you find. What are you doing about the...

High Beam Indicator Light Not Working

I have not determined the problem. After seeing complaints about it being too bright, I figured not worth the effort to remove the dash. The boost gauge was replaced by the previous owner, maybe they did something? I don't know if it is a replaceable bulb, or an LED on a circuit board. Both...

    05 and 06 mud flaps

That is exactly why mine are still sitting in the shipping box. I am a bit afraid to tape stuff to the paint, petroleum based adhesive, I assume.

    LF HEADLIGHT BURNED OUT

Thanks for letting us know. Much appreciated. I think about everyone would assume it was the headlight. How often has a headlight gone out and it was NOT the headlight bulb? Everything on the GT is easy to remove, except those fender liners.

    Airbag recall question

The local dealer sent a mechanic to my house to change my GT500 bags. I took the units out myself prior to him showing up. He replaced them on the bench. He then installed the bags only and checked for no error lights. I then finished the visible parts install. The mechanic was great and...

    Front Hood is Catching

I caution you on adjusting the hinges. You can very easily get them out of position, thinking they are OK, and then bend them. Also, if you open and close the hood without the struts installed, the hinge mechanism can cam over and hinge the wrong way, resulting in cracking your hood. The...

    Dry Sump and Priming

I would venture to say that 90% of the DRIVEN cars sit longer than 2 weeks 80% of the time between drives. Have not heard any problems. I would assume that draining the oil drains oil out of the system, lines, filter, filter housing, etc, that does not drain out just sitting between drives...

    Dry Sump and Priming

I concur with Specracer. Starting a car to temp still adds moisture to the oil. Products of combustion are H2O and CO2 plus more stuff. This blows past the rings and into the oil. The hot oil flinging around will eventually evaporate the water out. But, when you bring the engine up to temp...

I made up an additional sheet shield for lower control arm and toe link areas

Heat, light, oxygen and ozone are damaging to rubber compounds. Additives can delay the inevitable. The OEM rubber must lack typical life extender additives if the boots in parked cars are deterioratong. Apparently, the oxygen alone is attacking the rubber. Ozone is especially bad, so don't...

    Stereo sounds mediocre at best

My radio sounded something like you described. When doing some PM, I found that the ground wire for the sub/amp had broken from the crimp grounding eyelet. This ground is behind the drivers seat next to the sub. I fixed the ground, now sounds great.
