I was under the GT the other day and see my lower control arms (rear) have lost their seal so for now I'm leaving them alone for now.
Ford wants about $1,800 for newbies each side. This your problem?

I found that both the rear lower control arm outer boots and toe link outer boots crack in cold weather. I had stored 2 sets of lower control arms in my unheated area of shop and the boots cracked from the cold. The set I had inside was fine. Anyways, I located a suitable replacement on ebay from a seller in Bulgaria back in 2018. Ordered them and received - no issues. I see he still sells them. It does take a while for shipment.

Looks like this fits the outer tie link, not the control arm? Does it fit anything else?

Mine are cracked as well. I'll ping Rich.

I just did the rear control arm and tie rod end link boots last month with a kit from Rich.

Not too bad of a job to do.

What type of grease needs to be added to the suspension boots.

Original is a black grease, assuming Moly, that's what I used.

I don't like that link with those boot specs for the outer end.
The toe links specs have a small seat size of 16mm and large seat at 31 mm and need a boot height of about 17-22mm
Having a little stretch is ok and I think better then anything near a loose fit.

The ones I got from Rich are so tight that they don't need rings and cant go any place.

I think this is about right..

Im going to get some new inside link boots as ones toast so the other will be as well.
Their actual measurements of the inside joint are 20mm x 35mm x 22mm long, so the below boot is pretty tight.
Its seated width is a little big (4.5mm) for the 3mm but should still tuck in.

Ive emailed them for a buy of 4 inner boots and 4 more outer boots.

The above pic is from poly boots in Bulgaria, they don't sell to retail, so I went to Ebay and ordered 4 inside toe link boots, so I have a back up set hopefully ages from now I'll use them and another 4 for the outer toe links.
Ive just put on new ones from Rich so outside is good but I don't think Rich has anything for the inner boots.

Thanks much. I assumed you bought them there, but a few dimensions on the drawings were slightly different
