Pretty hard to prevent any substantial surprises when it's a purpose built race car designed to do one thing, and the rest of the field are long time production cars that have been in the class since day 1. And who are they kidding, they love the attention the GT is drawing into the sport.

Just watching a bit more of the race, the 67 really did steal that one. They were just talking about how much success and experience the corvette crew has at mosport. And the 67 was always behind in 6th, but everyone pitted and snuck right to the front. Lead from 55 minutes left.
