Joey,
There's a GT listed on BAT, 05' no. 0435. I recall that some of the early GT's had cracks in the front uprights and leaks with the rear main seal. Were those issues fixed by that serial no.? We lost our two GT's (and your book!) in the Colorado wildfires so looking to replace them. Do you know which forum member was tracking the GT serial no.'s so that I can relay the demise of those two cars to him?

New custom al13 retro style wheels with real 3 spoke knockoffs added. Next is retro 66 style graphics to tribute 66 #2 car.

The Deka battery you posted about for the GT earlier this year. The measurements are a bit bigger than the Red Top.
Figment was no issue?
Thank you

It fit very well. Here's a link to a picture of my installation. Be careful not to lean your elbow on the fender when you lift the heavy battery into the car. The aluminum fender will bend/dent.

Looking forward to the install with my kid holding 1/2 the weight.
Thnx again!
Doug, somehow I blew out a face weld on my passenger-side catalytic converter. Gary removed his cats when he installed the long pipes on your GT. What did he do with his cats? Do you have them by chance? I don't and I'm sure Amy doesn't. If he threw them away I'll never forgive him! Enjoy the Rally.

Hi Howard, yes, he kept everything, including the cats. I am going to hold onto them though, in case I return it to stock (not likely) or if Florida starts emission testing (geez, I hope not) or if god forbid I am forced to move to a place like California. I still haven't heard what the car sounds like driving from the outside. Looking forward to the rally. You up in the northeast for the summer?

Doug
Although I am not a GT owner I have joined the Forum because I work on the Service Concierge Team. I am grateful for to the admin of the Forum for letting be be here. So many time clients ask if I have seen this or that on the Forum and I have had to say no. My hope by being here is to be able to get a better handle on some of the service concerns out clients are having. Again thank you.
I’m a first time GT owner and am crazy happy about it. Ive got an 05 4 option, 4k car, a clean carfax but i dont know as much bout the history as I’d like to. For example, the car has “Ford Racing” valve covers that i think are aftermarket but am not sure. Anybody know? Also, the car is signed “Steve Saleen” on the drivers side motor brace but have no idea how to verify that Steve actually signed it, where and when.
Hey, have you been in touch with Carl (CJ428) about getting on our truck? Or better talked to Mike from Reliable?

Hope all is well with you, Andy

I haven't. Didn't know who would have the laboring oar here. Has some one given the "heads up" to Reliable yet, or is that yet to happen?

So a question to you all: how long does the battery last before going dead if you do not drive the car?
days? weeks?
