I don't think anyone really thinks he wants $3 million dollars for the car, and I think he knows nobody thinks he really wants $3 million for it. He sold all his other GTs far under their asking prices, so clearly the advertising didn't hurt. I also highly doubt anyone that sees this Heritage GT listed for $3 mil is going to think he's going to be a sheister when it comes to dealing on a $22k Fusion. Just advertising.

Is it not really obvious? Put a GT up for sale with a ridiculous and totally unrealistic price tag, get people that are in the market for GT talking about it, get others to do easy advertising on your behalf. Nobody is talking about the GTs priced within 5% of market value...

Nahhhh...I was foolin'. I guess the theory here is that someone will make an offer at 200K and maybe buy it at 225-235 or so and tell everyone they got 2.7+ million off. Maybe he'll get someone who thinks that way eh!

I think that they have an automatic response triggered for best offers when they fall below a preset amount. Given that it's 452 miles, it'd probably fetch in the high 230's low 240's if it sits there long enough...

I remember bidding on some items on a best offer - and the response came back seconds after I placed the offer, too fast for a human response in fact.

I believe I erred - I was thinking 1/3 of the 3 million for both, but I was tired when I posted...LOL. I paid more than 1/3 or a million as you well know, since I bought them both from you. I just spent more on a Whipple 4.0L and Accufab too...and I believe I will have the fastest GT in the province, once I'm done next week!

There is NO way I'm selling either of them now...I could not bear not having the white one to drive or the yellow one to hoard...LOL Talk to me in 10 years or so!

I will however be looking for a Murci one of these days and you'll be my 1st call when I'm ready!
