Wow Cool..Ford GT wireless mouse

Beem several weeks since my cc was charged.... No mouise :(

I ordered 2 (red/white, the fastest - of course) - but they only sent one. It arrived 2 weeks ago, no packing slip or invoice copy. I'll wait to see the billing, before I call about the other one. :confused

It works great, with each headlight turning on corresponding to the button pressed. :thumbsup

Anyone else seen theirs? I ordered (2) a couple weeks ago and have seen nothing either???

GT mouse problems

I received mine within 2 days after I ordered it! Pretty quick! However, I am having problems with it; it worked fine the first 4 days; now, it is "jamming", slow or no response clicking the left button (fender); I changed the batteries, reset the mouse & RF transmitter, but still experiencing the same issues; anyone has these issues? Btw, I have a wireless keyboard, is it possible it is interfering with the GT mouse? but why after 4 days or so? Any ideas?
Thanks!

Gaby

I had ordered two of each. All came within two days except the white ones which were backordered. Havent seen those yet. Have experienced no issues with any that I kept and heard no complaints from my kids or friends who received them as gifts.

Probably not ergonomically correct for everyday use but very cool.

Still waiting for mine! :(
Have complained to Amx

Had to send my back

Sorry guys I,am the one who started this cheesy mouse trap...
I glad some people have good results but mine on my shinny desk
would not work. The mouse would move all over the desk by itself and the control was bad. I called them and they stated to send back for a refund.

hey guys - just a cautionary note -

Remember that the batteries install with both batteries facing in the SAME direction, not opposite directions like most double battery powered devices.

I thought mine died, but simply re sync'ing solved my problem.

This site is so good o have.:thumbsup

I was about to order a bunch of them.

I was going to put themunder my laser engraver and send them as gifts.
Changed my mind after reading the thread, not worth the risk.

Amx issued a credit to my account. Never recvd the mouse.

Crap. Now I'm getting worried. Maybe I should follow BONY's lead? I ordered 2 + something else from the site the second week of January and still have seen nothing. I'll give it another week then call AMEX.

Response from road mice

I contacted Road Mice to find out what's up and to let them know that their reputation is taking a beating with an audience that I would think they want a relationship with. below I have posted their response. I believe that this is a legit group. They simply have several colors on back order. They will be shipped as soon as they come in. As for a malfunctioning mouse. She assures me that they would replace it immediately upon contact with them. Lets give her a chance and I believe she'll take care of us all.

Response from Angie:
Nathan, Thank you for the information. Your GT's are still on back order but good news they are expected to arrive next week, I will ship them out ASAP. I wish the guys on the forum would contact me, its hard to know if they have backordered product or if their order is lost in the mail.....I always answer my emails so it scares me that if they have not received something did I ever get their emails at all. If we receive an email with information regarding the performance of our product it is sent directly to our Tech Guy and within hours if he cant make it work we send out a new car ASAP. I tried to respond to the website but it wouldn't let me, it makes me very sad to think someone is unhappy with our product or our service, because both have been raved about with the thousands of customers we have sold to. Pass along the word if you can and submit my email address or even my personal cell number 949 322-1678, as the Customer Service Rep here I would love to make sure they all have a positive experience with Four Door Media, or Roadmice.com. Once again Nathan thank you so much for all of your help and information, I will be shipping your GT's out next week, let me know what you think when you get them.

Why charge a customer's card when the item is on back order? Why not advise clients of expected delivery dates?
I blocked payment a week after my card was charged, they never called back. Talk is cheap.

I would agree that their communication has been less than stellar and that they should not have charged the card if the item is backordered.

I have no vestment in Road Mice and have no compelling reason to defend them unduely. I ordered 7 mice, 5 were shipped right away and I received them within days. The packing slip indicated that the white ones had been backordered. The quality of the product was quite nice actually and they made great gifts. That was almost three weeks ago right after the beginning of this thread. If I get the white ones next week I'd be happy to send you one as a gift if you'd like. I think they just got behind and ended up in a twister. As for me, I'll give them a chance to make good. If they don't make good. You'll be the first to know.

Thanks Nathan, but that is not necessary! But, very kind and generous!
Of course I am waiting for a white one as well. :-)

Being a beverage distributor we work 356 days a year and service ids our moddle name.
I suppose I expect the same from others.

Cheers!

I totally feel what you're saying. I work extremely hard to develop and keep my business relationships. To me customer service is EVERYTHING! Somehow the things you and I learned seemd to have been missed by most people, but perhaps thats why you and I both have the privelege of owning a GT and most people don't. I'd bet you a dime to a dollar that everyone on this site got here because of the dedication to making things happen that we have come to expect of others. As for me, I'm damn proud to be a part of this group. I'm very comfortable around people that make things happen!

C'mom, white cars slower...no big news or surprise. They, of course, had lots of the most popular color, RED.

Darn, no black...I had to order one of the dark red ones instead. Hopefully it doesn't take too long after reading the earlier posts.

"Angie" should know that it's against FTC statutes for a mail order firm to charge a credit card for an item on backorder UNLESS they contact the customer and give him/her the option of waiting for the item or cancelling.

I've twice e-mailed "Bob" who sent the confirmation of my order 3 weeks ago and have not received a reply as yet! If they do business like this, they'll be out of business faster than my FGT.
