Hey Mike,

It was good talking with you today, ( the big guy with the Black with Silver stripes GT) There are a few good guys here on the site that sell GT's Shelby at Elite and BJ Motors. Both these guys know their stuff I would recommend you speak with them before you purchase. They both have a good stock of cars both low and higher in mileage.

I bought mine from Shelby and had a great experiance, but I can also vouch for BJ motors both companies are a Class Act.

The forum is also a great place to get information and these guys will blow you aways with what they know. Anyways nice chatting with you today and good luck finding your new ride.

YoungCEO.

Everybody know Black and Silver is the best GT out there.

What was the scream on the video did I hit the breaks to fast?

I always get too excited when I see a herd of GT's blowing flames. :willy

WOW!!

It would appear from the comments and the phone calls that I have received that all had a wonderful time.

Now as for Chris's gal and the flames; I supect that this is his version of Jay aka GT Saver's Neon engine bay light.

I am glad to see the pictures and to hear that a great time was had by all

Chris showed off the flame-thrower modification you did for him with great effect. He wouldn't show us where you hid the switch though. :devil

Everybody is waiting for you to productize this new mod. :lol

BTW - it looks pretty cool when you run the mirror camera at the same time!

Socal GT owners should plan on gathering up once a month at C&C and then go to various places for breakfast afterwards. I'd like to nominate the second Saturday of each month, what do you guys think?

Bill,
As you can hear in the video, I have pretty nice music playing in the background. My GF's little Sony digital camera did a good job w/ capturing the video and sound, but most importantly the car wasn't pinging in those videos. You're on the right track.... :banana

I got up at 4:30 to make it to the show and it was great - thank you all for coming. Great turnout of GTs and many other SoCal cars (not like Detroit - hee hee!). Met GT owners that did not even know about this forum.

Ron - gr8 meeting you & sorry you got up early.
Don - gorgeous TT - 235mph WOW!!
Mike - Soon to become a Heritage owner and at 6'5" will need a bubble

Chirs & Herb - riding in the Batmobile throwing flames - MADE MY DAY.

Pictures of me with the model - Better not get uploaded or I'm taking hostages

Dennis & George - Too bad - you missed out!

Rick,

There is always a great turnout of GT's every Saturday morning. Some guys need a little more prodding than others to show up - thus the thread posting.

You just need to get there early (I think George gets there at 5:30am...or maybe it's the previous day :biggrin) in order to get a good parking spot with the rest of the boys.

See you there!

You guys are killing me, I am working on buying a GT. I won't have it this weekend but I can drive my 67 Shelby GT500 back up from SD. I run 100 octane in that thing at $7.99 a gallon. 140 miles round trip at 9 miles to the gallon, that's expensive coffee and donuts!!!
