Who is thinking about another Texas GT Roundup?

We're halfway through another year and other than a single hint months ago about a national rally, there is no sign that it will happen.

The Roundup in 2016 was a world-class event. Epic drives, scenery, food, and, best of all, epic people.

Here's how it works. You guys in Texas do all the work, then I show up to enjoy the fruits of your labors.

It's almost too late for this year, but bluebonnet time?

Campaigning for a Texas Rally? What's wrong with New Jersey? World class fast food, left leg-strengthening traffic, likelihood of exotic weather and a welcome alternative to the boring culture of patience and politeness. Even Xcentric's unique personality was formed here.

Howard, Thanks for volunteering to make it happen. I'm in. I will admit that New Jersey has better hot dogs than Texas. We could have a road rally with the challenge to avoid tolls.

Unfortunately the P-51 in your picture is no longer. It crashed into an apartment complex at a local air show around last Thanksgiving, killing Cowden and his passenger. Thought you should know. His hanger was 30 mins from me and he let Heny (Black GT in pic) and I use Pecos Bill for pictures for 2 hours. Great guy.
