Who built your engine?

I'm surprised nobody has documented this yet. We all have plaques on our engines signed by the technicians who built them. This gives us the unique opportunity to document this info in the GT Registry or the SAAC registry. Is it important or does anybody care?

My '05 was built by Frank Cilluffo (possibly Alluffo) and Ronald Anderson

My '06 was built by Bob McIntyre and B. Hubbard. If you're old like me,take a flashlight and a magnifying glass with you when you go to read them.

If the rotation number is worthy of recording, I would think this info would be also.

Great idea Texas GT! I have thought about this, but always forgot to ask. The names on my 2005, #1490 are:

Doug Deemer and J. Donovan

So guys, if you do indeed exist, here's to you!

How funny! I created a thread on this very subject about 6 months ago, and never got a response!:lol :lol

Obviously they didn't work as dedicated teams.

Do you think that's an A or a Ci?

Now post Dyno numbers with the names and we will find out who builds the best and worst engines!

Of course a big assumption is that all of the dynos read the same and you have to compensate for conditions.

'05 #1375 engine by Doug Deemer & J. Donovan:bow :bow :thumbsup :biggrin

Hey anyone out there with a George Whiting built engine, I would love to have some pics of your cars. My dad "George" has just retired and I was trying to put a scrape book together for him. Thanks Jillian

I started a thread about this many months ago. Doug Deemer is clear but the second name is illegible. Any guesses?

Wow! A two year old thread. I'd forgotten I started this.

Maybe it'll get some responses this time.

The Romeo Niche Line

There were 18 builders and 2 coordinators for the GT on the Niche Line over the life of the program. At most, we had 4 teams build in one day. The build teams were dedicated, but most teams had back-up partners to cover vacations, and we also had a few retirements and manpower changes during the program.

As far as quality goes, every engine was Hand Built with Pride, so every single one is top-notch. It was an honor and a privilege to work with all of them!

ACRJoe, it looks like your other builder was Mark Schuman.

By the way, Frank's last name is Cilluffo.

GREAT info THANKS!!
