There was a recent special guest appearance in The Bat Cave. There is canvas Flying and Wings flapping in the Bat Cave ....:secret:

Now that the Carbon Ceramic brake project is done it's time to finish something else I have been working on... Oh.... you guys can throw out your slide rulers when it comes to the GT aero.. I just saw a Ford GT run 253 MPH with no front splitter.. and a larger than normal rear diffuser.. It did not flip over , blow up and the wheels did not fall off like many would like to believe.. :biggrin

I have two words for you road race fans..Viper ACR..

And two words for you Over Powered, mile run traction challenged guys.. Top Fuel Dragster. ( well maybe that's three words)

Wings and balanced down force can help both race groups... Jason, Ray, Johnny are you listening...?? :wink

Does Camillo own any other shoes other than Vans? :lol I don't think I have ever seen him or a picture of him in anything other than them.

Brian more photos please. How is it mounted to the car? Does the clamshell open without issues?

I'll give you a clue.. I designed my bumper delete kit for a reason.. The wing load should be transmitted to the frame... It will bolts on and off in minutes. No cutting of the body,, no clam shell interference.

OMG please be careful modifying the stock aeros! JK lol. That said I think I remember the ACR wing creating something along the lines of 1000lbs of down force at 150mph. I would guess that is a lot more than the stock or oversized diffusers do. How are you planning on tuning the wing angle? They do add a lot of drag I would think and would great on the track but not so good for achieving max velocity. Can't wait to see more images. I had thought about mounting systems such as this. Never seen this configuration actually used on the track so wondered if it was just a display setup.

This type of rear strut mount is used a lot. Even the new Murci SV has rear exposed struts,,:thumbsup . The Matech Concept is not new. It it is the obvious choice for the GT because that is where the frame rails are. Sorry ..My strut design is secret for now,,,:secret:
