So hopefully I'll buy a GT by June of this year. Any weak spots on the car I need to know ? rust ? recalls ?
Thanks

Simply put, take someone with you that know these cars inside and out. Anyone will tell you anything on the phone or email and pictures never tell the truth.

Thanks, I plan on doing a ppi on it. Seems there are about a dozen cars on the market for about a year already

The vendors on this forum are great. They have a good handle on cars on the market in general. I would be suspect of ones that have been on the market for extended periods (a year seems like there may be an issue or the seller is out of range). Aside from the axle bolt recall, I have not heard of much else recall wise.

Good luck, you will love the GT.

Shelby sells GTs ? from Vegas ? what is BJ Motors ? Thanks

I am Shelby. I have been known to sell a GT or two

And with that quote, you're suddenly the dictionary definition of "understatement". :rofl

I agree with Joey, The Complete Owners experience book is a great place to start no matter where you buy your GT

Thanks Mullet! And you are right, although we welcome any and all PPIs...... :)

Hey William, Shelby Smith is in Ark. he is a very reputable GT specialist ,, BJ is another reputable sales person. I still have your card some where. If you want to chat some time PM me and I'll give you my cell number. I look forward to seeing you again. Regards, Brian

Bought my GT from Shelby, car was precisely as represented. In fact, after it was shipped (before i received) he told me if it was not to my satisfaction, we could discuss a price move.

Bought my pair from Shelby sight unseen. Totally satisfied.

Not many dealers do that. Shelby is the man.
