What kind of street mileage are you getting on Stones?

Folks have been using the Bridgestones long enough that I suspect we are getting a handle on mileage.

Assuming no or little track time what sort of mileage are you getting? I have about 6000 miles on a set on my white GT and they still look good.

Then I better start rotating mine.:)
No kidding--every few months Dodge sends me a reminder that it is time to rotate the tires "on your 2010 Viper."

Sounds about right, I replaced the rears at 8k, had about 1k left of "safe mileage", but I don't like getting too close, and the fronts barely show any wear at 8k.

That's what I get on GYs...but the rear Bridgestones look great after 8K miles of hwy only (hardly any wear....amazing). Can't say about city. Fronts look excellent too......but it's the rears that I always wear out! Imagine that.

All highway and no aggressive driving will go a LONG way, but under NORMAL use, 8k miles is about the life of the bridgestone rears (not worn out, but getting low) and the Bridgestone fronts 20k miles. You could actually get 25k out of the fronts, but whats the point in trying to squeeze the last little bit and risk your life because if poor traction. I have seen the goodyear rears last from 3k miles all the way up to 10k. One extremem to the other. Only way you are gonna see 10k is if its all highway or very very light footed driving. Typical life of rears on goodyears is 5k to 6k miles

Is there something with the suspension calibration on FGT's that give it this low mileage?...I had Bridgestones on my Porsche C4, and they lasted 40K...when I sold the car, the guy asked me if I had put new tires on it recently...........I went with the same tire on my new C4, and after 15K they look like new......

I've got around 7K on mine, mostly highway but with 3-4 hard track days. I suspect I've another 2k left on the rears, loads on the fronts, so I agree with the general consensus of 8-ish at the back and 20-ish at the front. I'm amazed they last so well - after a hard track session the rears get all blistered up and sticky, but revert to 'normal' looking on the drive home.
