Put a v8 in NFGT producing 900 bhp.

I wonder if a v8 can fit in a tear drop shaped NFGT engine bay.

I would think a 150Hp hybrid system would be the direction they would go. which would be cool, but where to put the system. Fairly tight in the engine compartment. The V8 would have to be the same size engine footprint, to gain 2 more cylinders, and the displacement probably wouldn't change much. Probably sound different. A 800hp mk4 engine/tranny swap would be interesting, though you may have to give up some of the comforts of the current street model and have an engine that needed rebuilding based on hours vs miles. Maybe something will materialize from the F1 collaboration with Red Bull
