Very cool. It looked very easy and comfortable. Perhaps all my concerns were unnecessary.

Sam are you attending that next event?

You can use that RED car that you drive and and leave the heritage at home.

Going that fast is not without risk, but IMO that risks are minimized at Mojave because of the very large length and width of the runway and the fine attention to safety Mike Border's team has put in place.

Are you going to run your car, or just spectating?

Run the Red GT. Honestly with 2 young kids safety is always on the back of my mind.

I have the same concerns as you with 2 kids. IMHO driving 200+ at Mojave is safer than driving 130 on the public roads, not to mention its legal at Mojave and doing over 100 on the public roads can land you in jail!

Be sure to have Kendall inspect your car before the event, in particular the brake, tires, steering and suspension.

Like Bony always said, "Obey the laws of man and nature."

Sam, I always have those thoughts in the back of my mind with my family. I believe it makes you that much safer, and you wont push yourself beyond your comfort zone. Heck, when I first started road coarses, I had stock Yaris's pass me on the track. Needless to say my oldest son was less than impressed. :shrug

Great write-up. It sounded a lot of fun and your writing made it come alive for those of us who couldn't be there....

Very cool. It looked very easy and comfortable. Perhaps all my concerns were unnecessary.

After I got the TT's and drove over 200 the first 20+times I encouraged my wife to drive. I would not have done this without feeling so confident in the car. There will be a short vid clip in with the results thread that will show me coaching her, but honestly the car gives you confidence. I look forward to running with you.

The results are in. I need to adjust a few runs that got credited to the wrong people in the multi-driver cars before I throw up a monster pics/vid/results thread. :cheers

I've read the book and I've seen the movie and I still want more!

(Great job on both, Sam.)
