For you guys that have 55 gallon drums of fuel at your house what kind of drum pump do you use?

What's the difference from the $150-$200 pumps and the $50-$75 ones? I would assume amount of fuel pumped is one of the big differences but what else?

I use one of the cheap plastic hand pumps and it works fine. Takes about 1 minute to fill a 5 gallon container. Even if you were pumping 15 gallons or so it is no big deal. Biggest issue is to watch out for static electricity sparking. I always ground the drum to the car before pumping. I have racedeck flooring and it can create some really big sparks.

yes the cheap 15 dollar hand pump is the best, Ive had the rotary ones and theyre crap. dont know about the electric ones, If you get one and like it let me know, maybe one day I might have enough room in my garage for a 55 gallon drum:wink

$623 delivered.

you might develop problems with you o2 sensor using c16, I did.

get the mile done under c16 and satisfy you urges to do 230.1 then tune it for 109. you'll save more than 200 bucks a drum

mass air sensor was upgraded during TT install. I would also rather have every bit of power (using C16) since I paid for the TT. Running 109 would just be selling myself short (considering I am short I don't need anymore of this :wink ). I don't mind paying extra for C16.

You could run smaller jets on your NOS to save on NOS refills. :lol

Not the MAF he means the O2 sensors in the exhaust. The lead in the C16 race gas wears out the sensors. Don't worry I run C16 in my car all the time but I change out sensors regularly.
