What have you done with your new Ford GT?

Car show coming up so I thought I'd scope out the parking at the meeting place, the Marconi Museum. It was closed today, as expected, but they must have seen my car, as someone came out and offered me a private tour of the entire facility and all the cars. Some really unique cars in the collection.

Then he took some pics of my car and posted. A fun surprise. You never know what's going to happen when you drive these cars around just minding your own business, but it's just about always something good.

Put the 2021 GT up on the lift in preparation to swap out the rear diffuser that came with a few blemishes with a new one from Multimatic(thanks Ford).While up on the lift I spotted a leak between the front underbelly pans.With the Ford Nationals coming up in 2 weeks at Carlisle and not wanting it to be in the dealer during that time I decided to have a look myself.After removing the front pans I found a loose hydraulic line.Tightened her up and all is good.

Went to the Marconi Museum Car Show hosted by Southbay Auto Club. This was a great show with some really nice cars. The best thing was the crowd.....Great energy and a tame atmosphere. Not a bunch of rowdy car spotters or loud exhaust contest. Just cool people who enjoyed super cars.

Took L259 to the North Central Florida Car Truck and Motorcycle Charity Show to benefit the Boys and Girls Club.
It was a fun filled beautiful Florida day. The event raised a substantial amount from registrations and auctions. Thanks to all who participated. The GT was a big hit with everyone ant it took first place in the Exotic Category.

Yes Randy... Great to see you there as well. Your car looks even more amazing in person and received quite the reception from the crowd which is no surprise. The details are fantastic. Hopefully, we'll be parked near each other at some of these upcoming shows.

Took my pair of MkIV Red GT's to the annual local all-Ford car show yesterday. People really love seeing these cars, and they are a pretty rare sighting indeed, in South Dakota.

We took L069 for a 60 mile ride to Tampa's Armature Cars and Coffee yesterday. We got there early and they put us on the pier with some other very nice cars. We were the only NFGT there and an 2006 Silver GT was there but I did not get to meet him. Great show and beautiful weather with lots of people loving the GT.

Happy 4th Birthday To My Girl 2017 Ford GT #H045! What A happy day for all. Thank You Ford Motor Company, Dave Bannister, The Ford GT Forum, My Concierge Mayan Willis and my Delivery Specialist Bernardo Martinez! She still is awesome in every way carrying 4,290 miles as One Of One in 2017 out of 138 built in American Racing Livery!
