Following in the footsteps of the Ford OG's, Chip and Tomy. Gotta get the younguns' in the car game early! Handed out 2 boxes worth of FGT toys today at the Concours of Texas. Displayed the 67 Heritage next to my CGT.

I entered my 2005 Carrera GT in the Councours de Elegance of Texas. I was not sure if my NFGT would be delivered in time for this show. Turns out it got here in time, so I recruited Dr. Frank to drive the FGT over to the show field. You can ask Frank why he's wearing a knee brace 
Had a wonderful time talking cars. Several people asked Frankie if he was Tomy Hamon or John Hennessey!

Was invited on Sunday to a Niagara wine cruise and lunch at a winery by McLaren Canada and Pfaff McLaren. This is the largest dealership by sales in North America. In Canada yet!!
Any ways pretty cool to be the only North American super car in attendance as it was by invitation only. Car was a hit as mosl of you would expect.
You know its really cool when the well known super super car makers are asking you to bring the Ford to an event. Ford has definitely hit the super car status with this one. Even more so that the 2005/06 GT. Which is still a super car in my books.

I was nicely surprised at the quality of wine from Ontario. Heidi & I will be back in June for more wine tasting in Ontario!

Well Keels & Wheels Concours D’ Elegance just ended and my two Girls were the hit of the show! Yesterday voted “Best Show Car “ by kids of all ages as they presented me with their blue ribbon award. This was before I passed out 48 Model GT’s at the award presentation. I spent 30 minutes yesterday morning explaining all the features of my GT. Their sponsors were very excited that I spent so,much time with the kids and answered every question. I love it! Check these pictures: I even made another conversion from Ferrari to Ford GT,

Here we go Today after judging. Concours management insisted my GT be entered in “SUPERCAR” class and be judged in a class of 18 other rare cars. Man was I thrown in with some very High Dollar Super Cars. My Girl won the Best Of Class and beat out a 1988 Porsche 959 Coupe, 2005 Porsche Carrera GT Coupe and a 2015 Porsche 910 Hybrid Coupe plus numerous other very rare, high dollar cars! Second place silver went to t.he 1988 959. I was totally shocked. Largest class in the whole show including 2 2005 Ford GT’s. Only 1st and 2nd place awarded. Wow! We got a standing ovation at the award presentation when announced by Ed Lucas top “Voice of The Concours” who is world known. At the award presentation I presented him with a model Ford GT exactly like my Girl, and he told me that’s never happened before and was very appreciative. He told the crowd he had seen me giving the kids models all during the show.

That is outstanding Tomy. Well done. I think handing out the models to the kids has a big impact on everybody including the judges. Great for the kids, their parents love it, and it's really fun to hand them out. Well done.

Way to go Tommy! I noticed you gave a lot of your red inventory cars to the kids. Was Pikul in line? You know red is the fastest right???:lol:lol:lol
