SYCO GT, would love to meet up but can't this weekend - have family things going on. But let's plan something soon. I'm sure there are several of us with GTs around the Southern California area.

It was a fun meet. One other domestic, a C7 Corvette. Neat to learn about the JDM cars, such as modified Supras, Civic Type R's, Miatas, and Euros. And field a genuine interest of questions about the NFGT. The crowd enjoyed seeing it.

On the track at Apex, turbos to air intake hose clamp decided to let go with another explosive smack of the hard plastic housing into the rear window, again (second time) cracking passenger to engine compartment rear window. Again. Sigh.

That's awful to hear. Rear window is made of gorilla glass too, like the front windshield, I imagine.

The Sun Came Out and So did 2017 H045 this morning for the ground breaking of phase two of Ultimate Garage in Friendswood, Texas! She lined up in front of the lime Green Porsches and help her ground! Two Dozen model GT’s given out to the Kids which made giant smiles! Love my Girl! Check that Texas weather!

Cold wet weekend which caused limited grip with race slicks. 40 degrees Friday but dry. Lower end of working temps for Michelins. Rained out Saturday, but got some pace Sunday on a warmer, drying track.
We ran the full 3.4 mile COTA configuration.
Porsche Club of America has track days maybe twice a year at COTA. Other track groups also rent it. This event was put on by the DFW and Hill Country chapters of PCA.

not sure about how much weight. The front air jacks are visible in the footwells. Rear air jack housing is part of the casting of the alloy rear subframe. If you don’t order the air jacks…can’t add them later. Multimatic sent me an upgrade…a bleeder valve, so I can lower the car in a controlled fashion, rather than slamming down like a race car. You can see that in the video.

Loaded it on the service trailer for the, I believe, 29th time, this time for transmission fluid leaks dripping out of the driver side back rear wheel well and rear. Looking forward to maybe completing a full track day where it keeps driving afterwards.
