What have you done with your new Ford GT?

Wonderful fall weather in DFW. Went to a charity car show. Handed out 3 boxes full of die cast cars to kids. Repurposed some Ford Performance T shirts and off loaded some Chinese knockoff “Dr. Frank” red FGT ball caps Trolled some Ferrari’s. Plus it’s Octoberfest.

Ha, ha. I let a lot of little kids in my car and closed the door for pics. Charged them $5 to get out. Made gambling money.

Big Inch Blake, Indy GT and I attended the Indiana Shelby Club Fall Fling in French Lick, IN over the weekend. The resort there was very, very nice. Nice garage parking, nice restaurants and a CASINO. Judging results: 3rd place Dr. Frank's RED DEVIL, 2nd place Indy's grey carbon edition, and 1st place Blake's liquid red. Blake's 05 tungsten took first in it's class. Being an out of stater really hurt. Will post some pics later. Had a great time. It was good to get together, and we won money in the casino. We need a GT Rally again.

With all the concerns of a dead battery I installed a simple front hood release using a short piece of 1/16" S/S cable.

The manual cable release dose not interfere with the stock Ford release. Gives you piece of mind regarding our battery fears. I have the parts if interested.

Look at windshield breakage post, and ac heater control failure after battery replacement, wing, and passenger door window does an auto open thing.

Local venue car show. 1/8 mile drag strip coming soon. Took the NFGT and they placed us front and center by the stage. Lot's of great comments. Handed out some Ford GT hot wheels to the kids.
