It reflashes the stock PCM over the OBD2 port under the dash.
The port is on the LH side below the dash. There is no physical chip to remove.

Yes Torrie, I know the port is under the dash, but where is the serial number for the engine control unit that you need to program the SCT tuner programmer?
Is it on the door jam label? I found this number there. 5GT2S.
Could that be it?
Torrie if, you can , I have a few stupid questions.
What is the A/F ratio you are seeing on the tune only.
And where are you picking it up A/F from, can I use the rear O2 bung when on the dyno or are you putting in a sniffer. We tried the sniffer with mixed success on a dyno.
Where are you picking up the tach signal. We clipping around the bundle of coil pack wires coming off the valve cover and it was fuzzy and would at times get a goofy torque reading.
Do you have any graphs comparing the tune showing A/F and HP/TQ. I would like to compare to stock.
If I did a stock pull and loaded the program could I do a pull with the new program right after, or should I go drive it around and strap it back on.
Sorry for all the questions, we found a good clean local place to do some pulls on a dyno jet, but they are not Ford guys. I hate to drive 60 miles one way for just a pull if I don't have too.
You can Pm me if you prefer.
Torrie, Thanks for taking the time to show us a few tricks.:thumbsup
George, those are some strong pulls. :thumbsup
