A buddy of mine makes a intake adaptor that allows you to bolt on any 289/302 intake manifold.

Just one of the examples I saw in his show room last night.

Looks great, but who wants to deal with balancing and jetting those suckers. If you like stacks, get stacked injection... Just my two bits...

That's pretty cool. Looks like 44IDF carbs?

Roush had an incredible setup in their SEMA booth a few years back. It was a Ford GT engine with short, Fuel Injected Carbon Fiber Velocity Stacks.

It was gorgeous. I was not the 'Master of my Domain' for the next 1/2 hour.

This pic is 'kinda' close, but the stacks were CF on a 5.4L. This is a Sean Hyland setup.

That would be absolutely gorgeous on my Cobra. Does he make it for a 351W?

I think someone makes a weber style intake for a windsor. I will ask John V. for you. I think John vermeersch has done more exotic cobra motors than anyone.

I like the cam covers on the Roush motor and I can't beleive Bony didn't swipe them at SEMA:lol

Tom, I too like the CF cam covers....though I have a slight concern about the CF cam covers, seeing that we have vents melting from heat build up.

I had some CF cam covers on a '55 Chevy w/350 V8 where the cam covers discolored over time from the heat.

Wait a minute when we had small block fords and chevys they were valve covers..of course the engine guru's called them rocker covers:lol

Dynatek Racing produces "Webber style" fuel injection systems. They have a Ford GT but it did not have these when I saw it.

just found this.... i tryed it ( IDA 48 ) on my "historic" race Porsche .... but didn't got them well balanced. Would have loved it for the nostalgic look... :biggrin

Now we build back to a race injection system with stacks.
