Has anyone figured out the best way to wash the car cover that was originally supplied with the car at the time of purchase?

would like advice on how to do this as well here....

I don't use mine, and because I use the bag to carry things, it's sitting in a ball downstairs. Based on the size, the big commercial washer at any laundromat would do.

Mine is still in its shrink-wrap. I use a very nice California Car Cover on mine...and it washes very nicely in cold water in my washing machine, and dries nicely using either low heat or ambient air.

Commercial washer = yes. Dryer = ruined mine!

Have it dry cleaned

I wash mine in home dryer and dry on low heat for short time then air dry.

I was thinking it would get through a large washer (your home washer is probably not big enough) but I was worried about the plastic window and would not put it in a dryer.

Hey Freddie,

I have washed my OEM cover a few times with excellent results. There is a laundromat with big commercial machines on the corner of Orange Grove and Thornydale in Tucson. I washed with liquid (clear) detergent, then air dried stretched out..no dryer!

Large front loading home washer / air dry

I use mine as a chute when coming down from speed. I didn't know it was a cover:)

I like that answer !!!!
