Took the time to watch this tonight after finishing a few things on the Cobra, I’m thoroughly impressed. I wish I could say the same for the Challenger however I cannot.

Watched it, pretty cool and pretty sad at the end. Then I watched the Maserati one. What was different is that the Maserati QC guy was using a gauge to check for body panel gaps, but the QC lady at the Viper factory was using her bare hands to do the same thing. What was also "eye opening"-to me at least- is that every Maserati that left the assembly line went directly to the track and was driven hard, makes one wonder about "break in" periods :confused.

I've watched a bunch of these "factory build" shows lately. There is another series on Speed too. Mercedes new Gull wing, Bentley, Ferrari, BMW, Porsche 911, etc.. The Viper factory was the dirtiest, with the poorest lighting of all that I watched.
I was surprised the engine building area wasn't cleaner....

No need for any breakin, it was already done for you at the factory! :lol

The ZO6 engine building area (I believe Wixom, MI) was pretty clean (same show), actually it's impressive. Saw the Ferrari 599 yesterday, they have put glass roof for natural lumens in the engine building area and put trees inside the engine building area to control the humidity naturally. I must say it was also impressive. Anyone knows if that shows taped/aired the F-GT build process ?
