This sounds like an interesting combination. I punched it up on the configuratior and it looked cool. Is the owner a member here? Photos??

Chip he is not a member that I know of. I haven't met the guy either.
Saw the car at the plant and not sure the colours went that well together. I think the shades of the yellow and blue just didn't fit well. Here are some pics for you.

not sure. I like this combo but the shades of the blue or yellow IMHO didn't seem to blend well. Now it was in the plant and not in the inpsection booth when I saw it. Maybe in there and out side it looks great. I just couldnt tell.
Still a great car none the less.

Andy,

That car is standard pallet Triple Yellow. Triple Yellow has a lot of green in it which may by why the blue stripes don't compliment it quite as well. Still, I like that yellow GT with blue stripes. I like Yellow GT's period. In direct sunlight the Triple Yellow looks great. But in the shade or at night it's not quite as bright.

Speed Yellow ('06 GT Yellow) has a lot of red in it and is noticeably brighter. It looks great and direct sunlight and still has a lot of pop in the shade and at night. Sitting side by side there is a big difference which would mess with my groove when I display them together at Cars & Coffee so I had to paint the new GT to match the old GT.

My new GT is finished, inspected, and ready to ship. In my mind's eye I can already see them parked side by side (or over & under) in the Beck's Landing garage. I'm on a continuous high.

Thx guys. This experience has been outstanding. The Ford Multi Matic team have been the best I have experienced.
Guys there is still more to come. I am telling you this is just the mid point. There is more stuff coming regarding this whole ownership of the new Ford GT.

Congrats 06fordgt! I can't to see how it looks in person. I may be back in Ontario in June '18 (not for my NGT but the reenactment). Your car looks great even without the orange!

I stuck some 3"l "Danger--Ejection Seat" stickers on my doors at Rally 12. The stickers were white and red, which went nicely with my red car. Now I have to hunt down some "Danger--Jet Intake" stickers of the right size to put in front of my air intakes.
