This gun has been converted to semi-auto but i can still shoot a 300 round per minute cyclic rate.

Outstanding!
You live in AZ, why convert to semi, unless purchased in that manner?
Assume not shooting the steel to avoid damage.
POI is dead on.
Enjoy!
Best,
Mark

The gun was purchased from TNW firearms in Oregon back in 2001 for a mere $8,000 with the tripod. A fully automatic version would have cost alot more back then and a fortune today. Cyclic rates for full auto BMG's vary between 450 rounds per minute up to 600 rounds per minute depending on barrel length and ammo used, etc. The gun range would not let me shoot at their steel targets because the 650 grain bullets would have destroyed them. After I was done shooting it looked like somebody had dug into the dirt embankment with a shovel. That embankment was 350 yards away from where I was shooting...

Oh yeah! I got to shoot those courtesy of Uncle Sam. I wouldn’t want to feed it from my own wallet. 😟

I don't understand what this has to do with GTs......

Then I guess fine cigars, 100 proof whiskey, and fast airplanes are out of the question…

'Fired a .50 at the Naval Gunnery School in Dam Neck, Va, back when the dinosaurs roamed. We shot into the tops of waves rolling onto the beach.
'Looked like a quarter stick of dynamite had gone off each time a round hit the water. 'Spray went everywhere.
'Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of one of those rounds, I can tell you that.

Great fun! We keep a shop made single shot to play with at our hunters lodge, Made from NIB vintage 50 machine gun barrel by a local gunsmith. Muzzle brake must weigh 5lbs and does it’s job.

Our hunters like to hold and look at It. They know it’s a shop gun. I explain that sometimes it will bloodshot your eyes or can taste blood in the back of your mouth. Truth is its so damn heavy plus a brake it’s like shooting a 22. Harmless.
