Didn't know if I could post here , but USA Today has a story about Verlander having it all--, many millions, Kate Upton and preapproved for a NFGT.

Good company for the new FGT.

He lives near me here in Richmond and we have a couple of the same cars (but he can actually afford his).

He has private parking spots at his favorite restaurants that he and Upton frequent.

No wife, no kids. Hardly has it all.

No mother in law

No mother in law

:lol

True, but the things we value as a society reflect very poorly on us.

Quick Verlander Story,

My sister is a professor at Old Dominion University. He was enrolled in her early childhood psychology course when he was drafted and signed his multi year big dollar baseball contract. He showed up for class the next day like no big deal. When she said why wasn't he celebrating he said it was because he had class. She talked him into taking the class to lunch and they all celebrated. Sounded like a stand up guy to me.

He and his brother are real good guys.

Hmmm. New FGT? Kate? Decisions, decisions...

I thought you said zoolander.

Who is this Verlander person? Is he coming to the Rally?

The NFGT is a far less expensive decision for us with wives, even if there was a choice.:lol

Young, healthy, athletic, Kate Upton, NFGT. Doesn't sound like the start to a bad start at 15 minutes of fame to me.

I was wondering the same thing!

Rex.. I am told he cannot attend. He has to throw around a little baseball for the next month or so.

But -- you have a good idea for Rally XII.
It would be nice to see him there..

yes, Verlander is a true ambassador of the Ford brand. (?)

I work too, so I'm OK with him paying attention to his day job. But as a 'tip of the hat' to his GT allocation, I think the least he could do is send Ms. Upton to the Rally in his place. Don't ya' think??? :wink

I wasn't planning on going but I think a suite at the 4 seasons is doable if she needs a place to rest her head!

I was thinking that too!

We had some car conversations this spring. He's obviously a car enthusiast with his collection of various exotics, but he didn't know a thing about the Ford GT or its history (Beyond wanting the new one because it's the hot car to have)...
