That screws into the chassis, so it should provide a good ground point. However, I would use an ohm meter to check to be sure.

one end to the power source used and one to the bolt, looking for 12v?

if not a good ground would it be zero?

You would want 0 ohm resistance between your selected ground and a known good ground(a factory grounding location/battery neg).

Mike, set the meter to read ohms. Then put one lead of the meter on the screw where it's bare. Then put the other lead on something you know is grounded, such as the bolts that hold the seat down, or similar. You should get zero ohms. If so, then you havre a good ground.

Or wait until I come up for Rob's BBQ on Saturday.

That bolt turned out to be a good ground. Finally, I no longer plug into the lighter receptacle for my V1.

on/off with the ignition key now. I don’t know why I waited so long To do this.
