except putting a GM engine in a Ford. That’s nothing more than a middle finger to Ford Motor Co and the fans of their products. I have asked several guys why they did that, and every one of them went on a rant about how they hated Ford drivetrains.

Don’t agree someone said? See what reaction you get if you do the reverse, a Ford engine in a Corvette for example.

He made a custom targa cover for use when parking. Can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I was by his brilliance and kindness
It was very inspiring to hear about all the design and clever engineering work that went into the car.He was so excited to see the car!

Fun to see the pair of legend Dan Gurney's Red GT's on display inside.

Also, a neat experience to drive along the flight path runway during staging for the show. Another beautiful day in Southern California.

i'm really upset at myself for this one I paid for this event well ahead of time and planed on going with my Shelby ,but somehow I thought it was on Sunday and I missed it altogether looks like a great time.

My first time there showing a car.

Well organized, perfect day, nice displays inside. I enjoyed seeing the pair of Gurney GTs. Nice crowd of enthusiasts and interested public. Timely start and finish, since it's right next to the airfield. Bill Lyon, a vintage Porsche racer, and son of Gen. William Lyon, also came out and said hello. Seems like a down to earth guy.
